Mama's Way Hot Sauce


Growing up, Mama Fong taught us to add chili garlic sauce and white vinegar to our Woon noodles. We combined the two ingredients to create ‘Mama’s Way’. We use it on everything from Woon noodle dishes and Mama’s Five Spice Chicken Wings to eggs, avocado toast, pizza, soups, tacos, and pretty much anything.  Refrigerate after opening.

Woon began as a family run pop-up born from a desire to share their mother's (Mama Fong) original Chinese comfort food. They offer a simple menu influenced by Shanghainese and Cantonese recipes. When they moved away it was always Mama’s cooking that we craved. They all worked full-time jobs and hosted pop-ups in the Los Angeles area when they could. Now, they have their first brick and mortar space located in Historic Filipinotown.
