Japanese Folding Knives

$20.00

A Higonokami pocket knife was traditionally used for small jobs in and around the house, to peel an apple, to sharpen pencils, during camping trips, etc. The blade is slightly curved and is roughly finished at the top. This reinforces the traditional feeling with this knife.

Still made in same old traditional way as 100 years ago. Handmade in Japan.

This foldable Aogami (blue steel) knife by Kanekoma features a striking black handle. An experienced blacksmith embeds Aogami blue steel (the highest-grade steel) in soft iron to create a durable, handcrafted blade with long-lasting sharpness. The Higonokami also has a V-shaped double-edged blade for superior functionality – both right-handed and left-handed people can easily use this knife.
