For over 50 years, Heller has enabled leading designers to create innovative products using new technologies. Founded in 1971, its first product was a stacking dinnerware line by Massimo Vignelli, which won a Compasso d’Oro and is part of the Museum of Modern Art's collection.

Heller launched its furniture division in 1998 with the Bellini Chair by Mario Bellini, which also won a Compasso d’Oro in 2001. The company has collaborated with renowned designers including Massimo & Lella Vignelli, Philippe Starck, Vico Magistretti, William Sawaya, and Frank Gehry.

Anna Dawson, a designer and artist in Brooklyn, draws inspiration from her love of surfing, a passion shaped by her challenges and triumphs. Raised in Sausalito, California by architect parents, she developed a keen artistic vision rooted in creativity and outdoor exploration.

Her design philosophy seeks harmony between body and water, reflecting her journey in surfing. Anna’s creations aim to capture the thrill of riding a wave, blending functionality with artistic expression.

A graduate of Whitman College and the Rhode Island School of Design, Anna’s work in photography and furniture design showcases resilience and a deep appreciation for nature, celebrating the joy of being in sync with the natural world.
